Lane in the beautiful mountains of Highlands, in Western North Carolina (only 2 1/2 miles from Main Street). Come enjoy the
tranquility, fresh mountain air and a glimpse of wildlife that only a mountain vacation can offer. At an elevation of 4118
feet you will be able to enjoy summertime temperatures that average in the mid-70's. Only 1/2 hour from South Carolina, 1
1/2 hours from Asheville, NC and just 3 short hours from the airport in Atlanta, Georgia.
GKP Construction finished building this new vacation rental home in
September 2005. The home is fully furnished and professionally decorated with antiques and oriental rugs all with your comfort
in mind. When you choose to stay here you will be able to see firsthand the quality and craftsmanship that goes into
a home built by GKP Construction.
Features: 1st Floor
Open floor plan with a combination kitchen, dining and living room with cathedral
ceilings. Living room has a spectacular mountain view and a gas fireplace for those cozy evenings. Kitchen is complete
with all the amenities: instant hot water dispenser, microwave, full size refrigerator with ice maker, gas range, dishwasher,
garbage disposal and cooking utensils. Did I mention the granite countertops? Eat-in counter with handcrafted log stools covered
in leather and suede. Dining room seats 4 at the antique, whitewashed table. Matching chairs are covered in tapestry. Sliding
glass door opens to a private deck where you can relax in the hot tub and take in the serene mountain view. Or curl up in
one of the comfy rocking chairs on the deck. Generous size bedroom with King bed and a private bath complete with linens.
First floor bathroom contains shower stall. Laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. Walls hand painted with
stencils by a local artist.

Generous sized bedroom with private bath. The bath has tub/shower combo. King bed
complete with linens. Walk-in closet. Walls hand painted with stencils.
Other Amenities:
Telephone, air conditioning, heat, satellite TV and DVD players in both bedrooms, along
with assorted DVDs, books and maps to area attractions. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer in unit. Complimentary
coffee, tea, cereal and popcorn provided for your convenience for your first night stay. Fax service is available in
our construction office between the hours of 10 AM to 5 PM, EST.
